Old Atlanta Park Splash Pad To Open Friday

CUMMING, GA — Forsyth County’s popular Splash Pad located at Old Atlanta Park, 810 Nichols Road, will open for the season beginning Friday, and will remain open through Sept. 7. Hours of operation for the Splash Pad are:

• June 5 – Aug. 5: Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. (including Independence Day)
• Aug. 6 - Sept. 7: Tuesday through Friday from 10 a.m. to noon and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. (including Labor Day)

Daily admission for the splash pad is $2 per person (1-year-old and up); cash or check only. Adults entering with a paying child are free as long as they remain on the dry deck. Annual individual passes are available for $30, and annual family passes are available for $60.

The Splash Pad will follow CDC guidelines by limiting the facilities capacity, enhancing sanitation and disinfection, and the county asks that users practice social distancing from other families.

Old Atlanta Park is located in southeast Forsyth County. In addition to the Splash Pad, Old Atlanta Park features a playground, two pavilions, a 1-mile walking trail and a recreation center. For more information, click here or call 770-205-4646.
