One Man Dead After Small Plane Crash In Forsyth

One man is dead after a small plane crashed ​Saturday at Browns Bridge Road near Waldrip Circle.​

FORSYTH COUNTY, GA — One man is dead after a small plane crashed Saturday at Browns Bridge Road near Waldrip Circle, according to the Forsyth Sheriff's Office. Two men were taken to a local hospital in stable condition.

On April 28, 2018, at 5:12 p.m. Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office and Fire Department responded to the aircraft. When deputies arrived, they found a small single engine aircraft down an embankment to the north side of Browns Bridge Road. A wing was located to the south side of Browns Bridge Road.

A sedan was traveling west on Browns Bridge Road and was struck in the trunk area by the aircraft.

The aircraft was occupied by three men.

The National Transportation Safety Board, or NTSB, is on scene and will investigate the crash.
