Opioid, Heroin Overdose Suspected In Forsyth County
A 31-year-old man was found dead in Forsyth County at about 9 p.m. Thursday night.

CUMMING, GA β A 31-year-old Forsyth County man is dead after what authorities say appears to have been a drug overdose.
The man was found Thursday evening in his bedroom at a home in the Watson Road area in north Forsyth County, according to sheriff's office spokesman DFC Patrick Sternik.
Sternik said the man's time of death is unknown. He had been left in his room Wednesday night but was not discovered until late Thursday. The sheriff's office was called at about 9 p.m. he said.

It's not entirely clear what drug may have caused the overdose, but investigators suspect either opioids or heroin, Sternik said.
Authorities were not releasing the man's name Friday, as family members were being notified.
