The Friday, March 4th Hymn Sing & Organ Recital is the opening event to the annual Atlanta Music Workshop (Saturday, March 5th) and will feature classical repertoire and hymns embellished by each organist. Performers will include local organists as well as
visiting members from Brigham Young University’s organ faculty.
This unique opportunity is provided by a generous grant to BYU which is designed to promote the organ and quality organ instruction across the country. In addition to the regular music workshop sessions, Saturday’s Organ Workshop will include three tracks designed to meet the needs of everyone from someone who has never played the organ before to organists with years of experience.
