Otwell Middle School Recipient of Georgia United Credit Union Award

Otwell Middle School and three other Georgia schools received a total of $2,500 in the "Boost Your Schools' Budget" award.

was recently awarded $500 by in the 2011 “Boost Your Schools’ Budget” award.

In a news release Wednesday, the promotion was open to all school systems in communities served by Georgia United.

Every new account that was opened by a school system employee between August and December, 2011, qualified their designated school for a $10 referral bonus.

At the end of the year, all schools entered in this promotion were placed in a drawing for one grand prize of $1,000 and three runner‐up prizes of $500.

The other three winning schools include, DeKalb County ($1,000), Madison County High School ($500) and Social Circle High School in Walton County ($500).

All four schools were selected at random from among all entries to receive the donation.
