Presidential Primary Results: Forsyth County Liked Trump
Florida Sen. Marco Rubio was a distant second place in Cumming and the rest of the county.

CUMMING, GA -- Much as he did in the rest of the state, billionaire Donald Trump cruised to an easy victory among Republican voters in Forsyth County on Tuesday.
Trump, who tallied a list of Super Tuesday victories solidifying himself as the GOP presidential front-runner, received 15,698 votes in primary voting in Forsyth.
Florida Sen. Marco Rubio was more than 3,000 votes behind, tallying 12,046 in the county. And Texas Sen. Ted Cruz was third, earning 9,966 votes.

Among the remaining Republican candidates for president, none picked up significant support in Forsyth County. Ohio Gov. John Kasich got 2,278 votes and doctor Ben Carson collected just 1,769.
On the Democratic side, a dramatically smaller Forsyth County turnout was favorable to former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton -- but just barely.
Clinton got 3,701 votes in Forsyth County, edging out Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders, who scored 3,142.
That’s a very different story than the statewide totals, in which Clinton blew out Sanders, winning roughly 71 percent of the Democratic vote.
