The president of the HOA reported his suspicions to deputies in September of this year, after a landscaping company that had done work for the neighborhood said they had yet to be paid for work they had performed in September of 2013.

When the president went to examine the HOA’s bank account at Citizenz Bank, he discovered that there was only around $1,000 available, the reports says. The president then pulled the transaction history, and learned that there had been several withdrawals made for non-HOA purposes, according to the report.

The president contacted the secretary, and both decided they should file reports against Wilson with the Sheriff’s Office. Deputies arrested Wilson this week and charged her with a count of felony theft by taking. Forsyth County jail records indicate that Wilson bonded out on Monday.
