CUMMING, GA — Rock 'N' Taco is expanding into Cumming's City Center at 423 Canton Road, city officials announced this week.

The Tex-Mex eatery already has a location in Roswell. An opening date for the Cumming restaurant is unknown.

“My business partner, John Michael Brunetti, and I wanted to open a place where everyone could come and enjoy music or a game and meet with friends,” Brad Hancock, co-owner, said in a news release. “It’s been a tremendous partnership.”

According to city officials, musicians who have played at Rock 'N' Taco have competed on nationally-televised singing contests such as "The Voice" and "American Idol."

Live music will be hosted Wednesday through Saturday nights and sporting events will be on display on more than 25 televisions, according to the city.

"The Cumming restaurant will exude the same ambiance as the Roswell location with walls decorated with music memorabilia, signed guitar plaques and platinum records," officials said in the release.

Rock 'N' Taco serves mix-and-match tacos, the Brooklyn burrito, quesadillas, the Pink Floyd, the Chuck Berry mojito, chips and salsa and fajitas, according to officials.

The Cumming restaurant will be able to seat 200 guests and will have a rooftop bar overlooking the Lou Sobh Amphitheater.

“We’re excited to bring the same experience that’s rocked Roswell for the last three years to Cumming,” Brunetti said in the release.
