Scam Warning By Forsyth County Sheriff's Office

The Forsyth County Sheriff's Office is warning the public there is a phone scam being used against the Forsyth public.

FORSYTH COUNTY, GA — The Forsyth County Sheriff's Office is warning the public there is a phone scam being used against the Forsyth public.

The sheriff's office reports they have received several calls Thursday morning referencing to a person identifying themselves as "Forsyth County Sheriff's Deputy James Marshall working for Lt. Zack Miller."

The phone call is once again asking for you to purchase a Green Dot Card for $500 to satisfy an attempt of court bond.

The number used has already been taken out of service. It is 770-790-1896.

"Please, just hang up," advise the sheriff's office. "FCSO will NEVER make this phone call."
