School Closing/Delay Update for Forsyth County Schools
Forecast of winter weather has school administrators acting early to avoid dangerous roads on Friday, Jan. 22, 2016.
Schools are preparing for winter weather conditions across the region on Friday that could mean dangerous travel on the roadways.
Forsyth County Schools will be closed for Friday, January 22, 2016.

All before and after school activities and athletics are canceled for Friday, January 22 and Saturday, January 23. This includes the SAT at West Forsyth HS, Lambert HS and North Forsyth HS on Saturday. Information regarding the rescheduling of the SAT will be posted on the school websites next week.
Central Office and 240-day staff should report at normal start times on Friday.
