School In Session On President’s Day
Monday is President's Day, a day off for many, but not for Forsyth County students.
Typically President’s Day is a school holiday, a break for students, but not this year in Forsyth County.
Due to the winter storm the area experienced on Dec. 16 and Jan. 10-14, Forsyth County Schools revised the 2010-11 student calendar to make up four of the six lost instructional days.
That means Monday, Feb. 21 will be treated as a regular school day, along with Feb. 22 and April 26. Friday, March 18 will also be a regular school day and not an early release day.
