Scientific Games Donates To Georgia First Robotics
Scientific Games' donation will help fund Georgia First programs for students in grades K-12 from Forsyth County Schools.

CUMMING, GA — Alpharetta-based Scientific Games has expanded its support of GEORGIA FIRST Robotics with a check donation to the organization that benefits students in grades K-12. Previously the company had sponsored a team to compete.
Scientific Games’ Group Chief Executive Pat McHugh presented a check to GEORGIA FIRST Robotics near the Company’s robotics technology used at its Alpharetta lottery instant games manufacturing facility. Accepting are award-winning robotics team members from Forsyth County Schools’ Alliance Academy for Innovation, including Luca Villalba, Jauston Neely, Celeste Coan and Maurice Wodtke, advisor Jon Welsh, and GEORGIA FIRST Robotics representatives Connie Haynes and Allison Carrow.
Scientific Games’ donation will help fund GEORGIA FIRST programs for students in grades K-12 from Forsyth County Schools, including Alliance Academy for Innovation, Forsyth Central High School, North Forsyth High School, South Forsyth High School, Sharon Elementary and West Forsyth High School.

“With our global lottery headquarters and technology center located just north of Atlanta, Scientific Games is committed to enhancing STEM education and experiences for our local students.," McHugh said. "We are honored to support an organization like GEORGIA FIRST Robotics that is inspiring and shaping future science and technology leaders and innovators right here in our own community.”
The company utilizes advanced robotics at its metro-Atlanta lottery instant game manufacturing facility in unique, complex processes that provide additional layers of game security, so that no one ever knows where winning tickets are located.
