Meet a local Realtor with a heart — and a hammer

Imagine for a moment you could find a local real estate agent with

  • amazing energy
  • deep knowledge of the changing market in the Atlanta area
  • an obsession with customer service
  • rave reviews from past clients

Now imagine that Realtor came with a top-notch builder — someone who could help you evaluate a home or who could help you get a home ready to sell for the best price.

Impossible, you're probably thinking.

Meet Amanda and Andy Shelton of Heart & Hammer Realty. She's a Top 20 percent Keller Williams agent with deep expertise in the North Atlanta market, including this 5-bedroom with a stunning backyard. He's an experienced builder who can evaluate a home from the inside out — and do something about it.

"He likes to say he's the heart, and I'm the hammer," Amanda says. "But it's the opposite — unless we're negotiating."

Whether you're looking to buy, sell, build or invest, work with a trusted local team who can serve as your partners in this rapidly evolving market. Call or text Amanda today at 770.572.0722, or email her at amandashelton@kw.com.

  1. Ready for some snow? Well, just because there's no snow in the forecast doesn't mean you can't see it snow. The City of Alpharetta will be hosting a Season of Celebration Friday, Dec. 2 from 5-9 p.m. in Downtown Alpharetta. Mayor Jim Gilvin will be on hand for the ceremonial lighting of the 60-foot Christmas tree on the Town Green starting at 6:30 p.m. Other activities include a holiday food drive, hot cocoa, selfies and sing-alongs with Santa, snow flurries, holiday music, and more. (Downtown Alpharetta)
  2. Want to have brunch and some brews with Santa? Well, here's your chance as Cherry Street Brewpub in Halcyon is hosting its 4th annual Brunch & Brews with Santa Saturday, Dec. 17 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Come grab a selfie with Santa or let their in-house photographer snap a photo. (Facebook)
  3. University of North Georgia had a groundbreaking ceremony Nov. 3 to celebrate the expansion of the school's Cumming campus. Cumming Mayor Troy Brumbalow joined Lt. Gov. The 27,300-square-foot addition will allow for more bachelor's degrees in Cumming while providing a capacity for future enrollment of 2,200 students.
