Sharon Springs the Personal Papers from the Committee
Read the personal papers from four Sharon Springs Committee Members, whether you're for or against, it's interesting reading.
The Sharon Springs Committee was comprised of twelve appointees. Seven of its members were from the Forsyth State delegation and five individuals were appointed by each of the Forsyth Board of Commissioners to represent each of their districts. Some were opposed to the creation of Sharon Springs, some were for, and others were neutral. The report was worked on from May through October of 2017. During that time frame, the Committee met with different experts, professionals, and citizens. The personal papers of four of the five individuals appointed by the County Commissioners are very interesting reading, not all or for the city and not all are against.
