Sheriff's Deputies Track Down Fleeing Suspect in Less Than 10 Minutes
The suspect was out on parole for a kidnapping conviction, according to the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office.

A man who decided to run from a Forsyth County sheriff’s deputy didn’t have to wait very long to start regretting it.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, the man ran from his car after a routine traffic stop near Parks Road in northeastern Forsyth County on Thursday morning. His bid for freedom lasted all of eight minutes, as more deputies responded to the scene and set up a perimeter.

The suspect was charged with DUI and obstruction of justice, but was also out on parole for a previous kidnapping conviction. He is being held at the Forsyth County jail.
