Sheriff's Office Arrests Nearly 100 In March For DUI: Video

The Forsyth County Sheriff's Office released statistics for March, including 96 arrested for DUIs and a video of one of those arrests.

CUMMING, GA — The Forsyth County Sheriff's Office is warning: if you drink and drive in the county, they will likely find you.

The department posted on its Facebook page that they arrested 96 people for DUIs in March.

"We take impaired driving very seriously here in Forsyth as safety is our number one priority, so if you choose to drink and drive you will go to jail," the department wrote.

The department gave a look into what they do to keep impaired drivers off the streets in Forsyth County.

One example is Jaren Campbell, 27, from Atlanta, who was driving in excess of 110 MPH on Ga. 400 northbound, police say. Deputies caught up with him, boxed his vehicle, and he now faces these charges:

  • DUI of alcohol
  • Possession of alcohol open container
  • Reckless driving
  • Failure to maintain lane
  • No insurance
  • Expired or no license plate
  • Fleeing or attempting to elude
  • Speeding
