Sheriff's Office Debuts Traffic Response Vehicle
The Forsyth County Sheriff's Office Traffic Response Vehicle is designed to help residents with roadside problems during rush hour.
CUMMING, GA -- Commuters who encounter bigger problems than traffic during their daily drive to and from work may receive help from a new tool from the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office.
The Sheriff's Office debuted a Traffic Response Vehicle (TRV) on Tuesday, March 12. The TRV, much like the Georgia Department of Transportation's HERO truck, is designed to help residents with roadside problems and will be in service Monday through Friday during rush hour times. The TRV team will assist with stranded motorists, accidents and road hazards. They will also be enforcing traffic laws.
Deputy 1st Class Chris Barger got a warm up when he helped out a fellow deputy with a flat tire.
