Sheriff's Office: Slow Down Near South Forsyth Middle School

The Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office wants to remind drivers to slow down on Windermere Parkway near South Forsyth Middle School.

“We have been receiving a lot of traffic complaints through our website about people speeding,” the Sheriff’s Office announced Monday on its Facebook page.

In response to the uptick of complaints in the area, authorities are reminding drivers that deputies are patrolling the area during the afternoon dismissal program and will pull over drivers who are caught speeding in a school zone. The school zone speed limit for the area is 30 mph.
