Shoplifting, Drug Suspect Arrested on 400
The suspect was leaving the outlet mall in Dawson County, the Forsyth sheriff's office said.

CUMMING, GA -- A shoplifting suspect fleeing the outlet mall in Dawson County was arrested Tuesday by Forsyth County sheriff's deputies.
Deputies were issued an alert that the suspect's vehicle was headed south on Ga. 400 and, soon afterward, a deputy stopped the vehicle in Forsyth County.
The suspect, Delton Styles, of Albany, was uncooperative, according to a release from the sheriff's office, and attempted to discard drugs that were in his vehicle.

He physically struggled with deputies, authorities said, but was placed under arrest and the drugs he attempted to discard were found.
He was charged in Forsyth County with obstruction, providing a false name, driving while suspended, possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana and other drug charges. In Dawson County, Styles also was charged with theft by shoplifting.

Dawson County deputies responded and collected the stolen item from the scene.
