Snow, Freezing Temperatures Forecast for Cumming
Snow and rain could arrive Monday night, and this week's low temperature could plummet to 17 degrees.

CUMMING, GA -- A mixture of snow and rain is forecast for much of north Georgia -- including Cumming and Forsyth County -- on Monday, with rain turning into all snow on Monday night.
No accumulation is expected for most of metro Atlanta, according to the National Weather Service, and no local school closings have been announced. There is the potential for black ice overnight Monday and Tuesday.
In Cumming, the weather service was calling for a 40% chance of showers during the day Monday with a high near 49 degrees and winds gusting up to 25 mph.

Monday night was predicted to see a freezing low of 27 degrees, with chances of rain shifting to a chance of rain and snow after 9 p.m. and scattered snow showers after 1 a.m.
Tuesday and Wednesday are expected to be even colder.

The high Tuesday is expected to barely get above freezing, hitting 34 degrees with a 20% chance of more snow showers. The low Tuesday night could dip all the way down to 20 degrees.
The skies should clear up by Wednesday, when the high in Cumming is expected to be 33 degrees and the low Wednesday night a frigid 17 degrees.
