Solicitors Must Wear An Authorized Badge, Sheriff Warns

FORSYTH COUNTY, GA — The Forsyth County Sheriff's Office is warning residents that anyone who solicits door to door, must be wearing an authorized badge. That means, they must be permitted through the sheriff's office.

With warmer weather comes increased door-to-door solicitor activity. Solicitors can only work in areas that do not have a "No Solicitation" sign.

Even if the solicitor has an ID Badge, they must not aggressively solicit their goods.
