Spring Fling To Be Held At Sawnee Mountain Preserve

Forsyth County Parks & Recreation will host their first Spring Fling event at the Sawnee Mountain Preserve Visitor Center, April 21.

FORSYTH COUNTY, GA — Forsyth County Parks & Recreation will host their first Spring Fling event at the Sawnee Mountain Preserve Visitor Center, Saturday, April 21. The event will include free crafts, games and workshops for all ages from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

“We are very excited for our first Spring Fling event that will have something for everyone,” said Parks & Recreation Director Jim Pryor. “There is a growing assortment of activities available at Sawnee Mountain Preserve, and this event gives visitors a chance to experience them.”

Beginning at noon, visitors ages eight and up can try out the climbing tower, zip line and tree climbing for $15 per person.
