CUMMING, GA — The scattered thunderstorms that have been pouring on parts of Forsyth County this week won't be letting up at all this weekend.

The chance for showers and thunderstorms will top 50 percent several times this weekend, and there's a decent chance we'll have rain every day.

If there's an upside, it's that temperatures are expected to dip a few degrees, from the low 90s into the upper 80s.

Saturday: A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 9 a.m. Patchy fog before 9 a.m. Otherwise, partly sunny, with a high near 86. West wind 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 15 mph. Saturday night, a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 72.

Sunday: Showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly after 2 p.m. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 86. West wind 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent. Another 60 percent chance of precipitation Sunday night, mainly before 8 p.m. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 66.
