Students at Carrington Academy in Cumming Learn from “The Lorax” in Celebration of Earth Day

On April 21, students participated in several activities to learn the importance of caring for the environment

On April 21, students at Carrington Academy on Kelly Mill Road in Cumming planted flowers and a tree in celebration of Earth Day. Students dressed for the occasion in the likeness of the Lorax, wearing orange clothing and sporting yellow mustaches. They also created a variety of art projects using recycled materials, including sponges and plastic bottles. Carrington Academy teaches the importance of community and exploring nature at a young age.
