Students at Carrington Academy in Cumming Plant Flowers and Herbs in Celebration of Earth Day
Students decorated recycled pots and cans to hold the flowers and herbs they planted on April 22
On April 22, students at Carrington Academy on Kelly Mill Road in Cumming celebrated Earth Day by planting flowers and herbs at their school. Students worked together to recycle old pots and cans and decorated them to create colorful new homes for the flowers and herbs they planted. Students will continue to take care of the plants as they grow. Carrington Academy teaches the importance of community and exploring nature at a young age.
