Students at Carrington Academy Windermere in Cumming Plant Gardens in Celebration of Earth Day

Students created hummingbird and butterfly gardens around their playground and helped fill bird feeders

On April 21, students at Carrington Academy Windermere in Cumming celebrated Earth Day by planting gardens on their school’s campus. Students worked together to plant a variety of flowers to transform areas around their playground into hummingbird and butterfly gardens. Students also helped to fill bird feeders for the gardens. Carrington Academy teaches the importance of community and exploring nature at a young age.
