- Vickery Village Forsyth is the place to be this summer with free outdoor movies in the courtyard provided by Southern Outdoor Cinema. The next free movie night is coming up at the end of June where families can enjoy a showing of Disney's Encanto! If you can't make it, don't worry! - Simply Mac customers were left frustrated and angry after discovering that the Forsyth location had suddenly closed its doors. According to AppleInsider, the store was forced to stop operations and terminate all employees "effective immediately." Many customers awaiting repairs have been unable to retrieve them from the now-closed store. Despite contacting Apple, former customers still wait for answers. (Forsythnews.com)

- A local resident has won a cartoon caption contest. Gene Pica of Cumming entered the contest to caption a United States 2015 Elvis Presley forever stamp. She was announced the winner of the best philatelic line, with the caption, "Guess you'll have to send me express mail as there's no more special D." (Linns.com)
- All Georgia residents are advised that there have been two confirmed cases of Monkeypox in the metro Atlanta region. Both residents with confirmed cases have been in isolation. The CDC continues to track cases around the United States. (Patch)
