Taste of Forsyth Saturday at Cumming Fairgrounds

The weekend may be starting off as a rainy mess, but the covered arena at the Cumming Fairgrounds means the Taste of Forsyth will be on, rain or shine.

The event is from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday. The fairgrounds are located at 235 Castleberry Rd.

Admission is free, with sample prices between $1 and $4. Participating restaurants include:

• Buffalo’s Cafe
• Maries Italian Deli
• Castleberry Ale House
• Hungry Howie’s Pizza
• Joe and Gio’s Hawaiian Shaved Ice
• Marco’s Pizza
• Quest Pizza
• Rio Balsas Taqueria
• Shannon’s Little Sugars
• Tam’s Backstage
• Taste of Jamaica
• Williamson Bros Bar-B-Q

Aside from the great food samples, there will also be an Easter Egg Hunt with more than 25,000 eggs. The egg hunt will be in stages based on age:

• Ages 3 & under at 11:30am;
• Ages 4-7 at 12:30pm;
• Ages 8-10 at 1:30pm.

There will also be live music, a kid zone with touch-a-truck and a puppet show.
