Tax Rate To See No Change in 2017: County Officials

Property levies in Forsyth County will be covered in upcoming public hearings.

Release: Forsyth County

Forsyth County continues to have millage rates (property tax rates) that are among the lowest in metro Atlanta – and the Board of Commissioners has announced its intention to maintain the millage rates currently in place with no change.

These rates will fund the county’s 2017 general operating budget, which is currently in the preliminary stages of development. You are invited to attend three upcoming public hearings regarding the millage rates, during which a presentation about the rates will be given and citizens will have an opportunity to address the board.
