Each spring, the Forsyth County Chamber of Commerce gets together to select a group of five companies who are named “Business of the Year.” With small businesses making up a sizeable portion of U.S. employers, such awards go a long way to helping us recognize the important role that many local corporations play within our communities.
For 2014, the Chamber received over 80 nominations, which were then reviewed by the committee in an effort to select eight finalists. Once chosen, the committee visited each of the eight businesses to see their operation and to get a better understanding of not only what their business is today, but where it started from.
On April 30th, we were delighted to be honored as the 2014 Forsyth County Business of the Year, 1-9 employees. Having gotten our start in the basement of Diane’s home before purchasing Atlanta’s largest gift basket company in 2013, we cannot tell you what it means to have our hard work over these last few years recognized. Truly, we owe an incredible debt of gratitude to our loyal customers and friends who have not only supported us, but helped us grow into the company we are today. It is a privilege to have the opportunity to help others give the gift of thanks, and we could not be more thrilled to extend our gratitude for allowing us to be such an important part of so many lives.
