An online survey has been created and several open houses scheduled as officials work on the county's long-term transportation plan.

CUMMING, GA — Forsyth County officials are asking for the public's input as they wrap up long-range planning to address transportation issues in the county.
Forsyth is nearing the end of updating its comprehensive transportation plan, a guiding document that outlines the long-range vision for transportation in the county. The Forsyth Transportation Plan update examines changes that have happened in the county’s population, employment, land use and development since the last plan, in 2011.
Updated every five years, the plan looks at the transportation needs of people who live, work and play throughout the county and will result in projects to address vehicle, freight, bicycle and pedestrian needs.
