Two Charged With Murder in Forsyth County Man's Death

The 35-year-old man was found dead at his home

CUMMING, GA — A woman and man are charged with murder after a Forsyth County man was found dead in his home.

Forsyth County Sheriff's Office deputies were called Thursday to an address on Odyssey Trail where they found the body of David Eric Guice, 35.

According to the sheriff's office, deputies at the scene recalled that there had been a traffic stop and arrest recently near that location. A search of records revealed that the woman who was arrested had given her address as the same one where Guice's body was found.

Forsyth and Hall county detectives executed search warrants at homes in Gainesville, Flowery Branch and another home in Forsyth County.

Tonya Tidwell, 32, and Ryan Spark, 29, were arrested and have been charged with aggravated assault and felony murder. They are both being held at the Forsyth County Detention Center.

Guice's body has been sent to the GBI Crime Lab to help determine the cause of death. The sheriff's office says the investigation is ongoing and more details will be available in the coming week.
