Two Colleges Plan to Share Cumming Campus

The Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia recently approved a request by North Georgia College & State University and Gainesville State College to develop a joint instructional site on Pilgrim Mill Road near the aquatic center.

Cumming Mayor Ford Gravitt said, "A community is not complete without higher education and it's something very much needed here."

City officials have been in talks with both schools about opening campuses in Cumming for several years.
