Here are the top stories today in Cumming:

1. University of North Georgia will participate in the National First-Generation College Celebration week from Nov. 7-11. All five UNG campuses will host festivities focused primarily on students who are the first in their families to pursue a college degree. A breakfast celebration with keynote speaker Dr. Steven Smith, UNG vice president of regional campuses, will be held at 8:15 a.m. Nov. 8 in room 125 on the Cumming Campus. RSVP is required. 2. Ready for some live music? Well, if you weren't able to attend Interstellar Echoes- A Tribute to Pink Floyd last Friday at Cumming Center's Lou Sobh Amphitheater, The Big Beyond will be performing this Friday at 7 p.m. Bring your family, friends, blankets and chairs and enjoy a free concert. Parking is free and there will be food trucks and beverage vendors. (Cumming City Center)
3. Want to see wait times before voting? Well, Forsyth County residents can view a digital map displaying current wait times for all Nov. 8 General Election and Special Election Voting locations. The map will show the current anticipated wait time at each open polling location with a green icon (less than 30 minutes), yellow icon (between 30-60 minutes), red icon (longer than 60 min) or gray icon (polling location closed).
