Forsyth County Parks and Recreation has several pavilions and facilities available to rent for a modest fee. Imagine a summer wedding in the park with bare feet, BBQ, horseshoes and sparklers. Coal Mountain Park community building is fully equipped with 12 tables, 72 chairs, ice machine, refrigerator and microwave. Sharon Springs Park has a similar equipped community building. These facilities are a great safety net in case of inclement weather and they also make for a good “home base” for the reception.
