West Forsyth Eliminates Lambert: Advances to State Playoffs

West Forsyth's Hannah Guthrie earned her eight win and collected 2 hits at the plate along with teammates Katelyn Cooper and Madison Michael, as the trio collectively drove in 5 of their 8 runs. West, who defeated the Lady Longhorns of Lambert 8-4 and eliminated them from the Region 5-7A Tournament, earned the 4th seed and will travel to 1st seed Grayson from Region 8-7A in the GHSA 1st round playoffs for a best of three series starting Tuesday, October 9th.
