Woman From Cumming Killed In 3-Way Crash
The crash happened shortly after noon Monday on Dahlonega Highway in north Forsyth County.

CUMMING, GA — A woman from Cumming was killed Monday afternoon in a three-way crash in north Forsyth County.
Emily Osborn, 42, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, on Dahlonega Highway at Punch Hammond Road, according to the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office. The wreck happened at about 12:07 p.m.
According to sheriff's office DFC Phil Alexander, Pedro Rolon, 61, of Cumming, was headed northbound and preparing to turn left on Punch Hammond Road in his Honda Odyssey when he was hit by a moving truck driven by James Lumpkin, 41, also of Cumming.

After hitting Rolon, Lumpkin's 2008 Freightliner went into the southbound lane of Dahlonega Highway and struck Osborn's 2004 Toyota Camry, Alexander said.
A passenger in Lumpkin's truck, 22-year-old Troy Lester, of Cumming, was taken to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The cause of the crash remained under investigation by sheriff's office traffic specialists Tuesday morning. No charges had yet been filed in the case.
