It was the second such report since December.

In Dec. 6, 12 Stone Church on Braselton Highway reported similar graffiti in several places on its building.

Perhaps a reference to the Martin Luther’s ”95 Theses” at the start of the Protestant Reformation in the 1500’s, the latest graffiti was believed to be spray-painted just hours before the church opened that morning. The paint was still wet, the incident report stated.

Most of the paint was able to be washed off with soap and water, but repainting was needed, a church official told police.

There were no witnesses, and the church does not have surveillance cameras, the report stated.
