Adopt A Free Furry Friend In Gwinnett For Christmas

It's hard to resist these cute animals, especially when the adoption fees are being waived at Gwinnett Animal Shelter on Friday.

GWINNETT COUNTY, GA — It's hard to resist these cute animals, especially when the adoption fees are being waived at Gwinnett Animal Shelter on Friday. There's probably no better gift for animal lovers this Christmas than bringing home a new furry friend. Local animal shelters make it more feasible by lowering adoption fees around the holidays.

The holiday price for a cat is $12 and two for $20. The holiday price for a dog is $25. No matter what the price, the spay/neuter surgery, inoculations and a lifetime microchip are all included.

Shelter adoption is an exciting and economical way to add a loving pet to your family. The Animal Welfare and Enforcement shelter takes in nearly 6,000 stray, abandoned, and surrendered animals annually. When animals arrive at the shelter, their health, condition, and temperament are evaluated. Healthy and even-tempered animals are available for adoption to good homes.
