El Jinete Mexican Restaurant is located right off of Dacula Road at 2320 Liam Avenue.
El Jinete is a family owned and operated restaurant that specializes in traditional Mexican cuisine as well offering a full service bar that is in a separate area from the dining room. The atmosphere at El Jinete is comfortable and festive with brightly colored walls, cozy booths and plenty of room for a large group. Flat screen TV’s are typically tuned to big sporting events and you may choose to enjoy your fare outside on the covered patio.
As a frequent patron of El Jinete in both groups large and small, I can report that the service is always friendly and efficient, the food portions are impressive and the Texas Nachos are out of this world. What are Texas Nachos? They are nachos covered with shrimp, chicken, steak, onions and bell peppers with lots of melted queso. El Jinete is open Monday through Thursday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and is open on Friday and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.
