Drug Deal Murder Lands Gwinnett Man In Prison
Quindarius Keshun Morton was convicted Friday on two counts of felony murder and the sale of cocaine.

BUFORD, GA — A Dacula man was convicted of murder Friday for a New Year's Day incident that resulted from a cocaine deal gone bad.
Quindarius Keshun Morton was convicted by a jury on two counts of felony murder, aggravated assault, selling cocaine, and possession of a firearm during commission of a felony.
Police accused Morton of shooting Reginald Bien-Aime, 22, of Buford, after trying to sell him cocaine cut with fish food. The shooting happened outside Buford's Reserve at Ivy Creek Apartments on New Year's Day in 2015.

Morton turned himself in to police days later.
According to evidence presented at trial, Morton shot Bien-Aime at least six times, including one shot to the right side of the head and one shot to the front-right shoulder which penetrated the lungs and heart.

At trial, he argued self defense, but was convicted by the jury on all counts. Superior Court Judge Randy Rich deferred sentencing to a later day.
