Here are the top three stories today in Dacula:

  1. School safety issues have prompted a Gwinnett County meeting to address concerns. The meeting was held at New Mercies Church in Lilburn on Wednesday night and was titled "Code Red." The purpose of the meeting was to distribute information to county families about the recent safety issues. Gwinnett County Commission Chairwoman Nicole Hendrickson was on the meeting's panel. (Fox 5 Atlanta)
  2. Gwinnett County is searching for bilingual poll workers for potential runoff races in December. The bilingual poll workers should preferably speak Spanish, Korean, Vietnamese, Mandarin, or Cantonese. About 60,000 county residents speak those languages, and the county is seeking poll workers able to explain the election process to them. (11 Alive)
  3. Gwinnett County residents have been invited to attend the Suwanee Classic Car Show. The event will be held on Sunday at 10:00 a.m. at Suwanee Town Center Park. There will be about 175 classic cars featured during the show. Participants will also enjoy a 50/50 drawing and live music. (Gwinnett Daily Post)
