- The Gwinnett Police Department said it is working to identify a man accused of defacing county property at Duncan Creek Park. According to police, a white male was caught on camera spray-painting graffiti on a retention wall within the park on May 7. Gwinnett Police will be increasing patrols in/around all County parks and increasing surveillance in an effort to deter these crimes. Police are asking anyone with information to share in this case to contact the East Precinct Community Response Team at 678-442-5660. (Gwinnett Daily Post)
- Gwinnett County police are looking for Calvin Lashon Woods, also known as rapper Calboy, after he allegedly attacked another person at Rabbit Hill Park. The victim, a man, suffered a broken leg, facial lacerations, facial and torso bruises, and other injuries during the altercation on Wednesday, May 4. Authorities say Woods was last seen in Dacula. - Nearby Loganville is accepting applications through May 20 for an upcoming vacancy on the Loganville Development Authority. The seven-member authority "works to stimulate diverse, high-quality economic development," and provides taxable and tax-exempt bond financing pursuant to Georgia Development Authorities law.
