Search for Kelly Nash Enters Second Week

The 25-year-old Buford man has been missing since Monday, Jan. 5

“We continue to push forward,” was the sentiment posted on Facebook regarding the search for Kelly Nash, the Buford 25-year-old who has been missing since last week.

Nash has been missing since early Jan. 5. He was wearing blue plaid pajamas and tan Sperry shoes, and was last seen in the area near Jimmy Dodd and Buford Dam roads.

His disappearance has drawn a massive local search, as well as national attention.

Crews have been searching a five-mile radius around Nash’s home, but have resulted in few leads.

A post on the “Kelly Nash Missing” Facebook page said the initial ground search has concluded, but flyers have been updated and an anonymous tipline (404-433-6323) has been created. A $10,000 reward has been offered in the case.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED TUESDAY: Thank you for your support during our effort to find Kelly. Though we have little new information, we continue to push forward. We’ve updated our flyers with the phone number and e-mail address for anonymous tips. We need volunteers to distribute these new flyers around the area. If you’re able to help, please report to 4460 Commerce Drive in Buford TOMORROW (Tuesday) from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. We thank you for your continued prayers, support, and donations to help bring Kelly home.

IMPORTANT UPDATE: First of all we would like to thank everyone who has been able to come to the Command Center and assist with our ground search this week. We have completed the initial ground search operations however if we receive additional leads we may organize further grounds search operations in the future. Starting Monday January 12, 2015 we will be seeking volunteers to distribute flyers. Please report at 4460 Commerce Drive Buford GA from 9:00 until 2:00. Updates will continue daily
