According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, the school system will post a five-question survey on its website and Facebook page some time this week, asking residents if the amount asked for in the bond should be $60 million, $75 million, or $82 million.

School officials may also conduct a more formal, scientific survey to have a more complete picture of the community’s thoughts on the matter before going to the Decatur City Commission next month seeking permission to put the bond on the November ballot, Superintendent Phyllis Edwards told the AJC.
