Police found the Maxima and Brittney safe and sound at a Publix on Shallowford Road three hours after the car was taken.

Shopping center employees reportedly saw the car sitting outside running for some time and went to check on it and found the baby inside the car, according to a WSBTV report.

Surveillance shows only one person involved in the incident, and police are still investigating, according to WSBTV.

Cucum-Macario has been cited for “creating a hazardous or offensive condition” for leaving the car unlocked and the engine running. He will be fined but not imprisoned, a DeKalb County police spokesman tells the AJC.
