Movie Shooting in Decatur Wednesday

A big-budget Hollywood production is coming to Decatur to shoot some scenes.

According to Decatur Metro, “Michelle Darnell” will shoot at Agnes Scott College and the DeKalb History Center on Wednesday, April 15. Decatur police will direct traffic during shooting, and motorists should expect some traffic delays on E. Ponce de Leon and College Avenue. However, traffic will be unmolested during school rush hours.

“Michelle Darnell” tells the story of a Martha Stewart-esque titan of industry imprisoned for insider trading, and her plans to win back the love of the American people after her release. The film stars Melissa McCarthy, Peter Dinklage, Kristen Schaal, and Kristen Bell, Decatur Metro reports.
