• Health officials warn West Nile virus still a threat as autumn approaches (thechampionnewspaper.com) — Mosquitoes carrying West Nile virus have been found in Doraville and other parts of DeKalb County, even though no human cases are confirmed locally yet. State health officials still expect more infections statewide and urge residents to use repellents, wear long sleeves, and regularly dump standing water through the rest of mosquito season.
