The quickest way to get caught up on the most important things happening today in Duluth.

Happy Tuesday, people of Duluth! Here's everything you need to know to start today off on an informed note, shall we? Here's everything you need to know today in Duluth.
First, today's weather:
Mostly sunny. High: 58 Low: 38.
Here are the top 3 stories in Duluth today:
- In today's seller's market, it's rare to hear about a home selling for less than the asking price. Of course, not every home is a 10,000-square-foot Mediterranean-style mansion belonging to reality star NeNe Leakes. Last week, the "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star sold her Duluth property for $2,650,000, which was $845,000 less than the list price. The mega-estate, a five-bedroom, six-bathroom home in the gated Sugarloaf Country Club, was purchased in 2015 for $2.1 million. (Duluth Patch)
- Hospitalizations for Georgia's children due to COVID-19 are declining, but it still remains the highest since the beginning of the pandemic. Currently, 79 children are hospitalized with the virus this week, according to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. That's down from 105 children during the week of January 11. (WSB Atlanta)
- Did you know that Netflix's "Ozark" wasn't actually filmed in the Ozarks, but right here in Georgia? According to Decider, the hit drama, which just released Part 1 of its fourth season, has primarily been filmed in the greater Atlanta area around Lake Allatoona and Lake Lanier. Duluth natives may recognize some scenes from past seasons shot here in town and throughout Gwinnett County. (Yahoo! News)

Last week, we told you about our new favorite non-alcoholic go-to — the refreshingly bitter drinks from our partners at Betera. They're chef-created from natural botanicals, lightly effervescent and worthy of life beyond "Dry January." We mentioned that their Ginger-Orange was excellent; we've since tried Elderflower-Lime and loved it as well — light and floral with the perfect amount of zing. We're converts.
Enough of you took Betera up on their 15% discount on first orders for Patch Daily readers that they've extended the offer for another week. Use PATCH15 at checkout. Highly recommended — try Betera here.
