According to a news release, the fire appears to have started in the garage, where a propane heater was apparently used to heat the pipes. But it is unknown if the heater contributed to the cause of the fire.

From a Gwinnett Fire news release

Crews rotated through a rehab area set up inside the department’s mobile ambulance bus. Crews were able to hydrate and stay warm before going back out in the cold. Vital signs are monitored to ensure that all personnel are doing OK. This is especially important during extreme weather conditions.

The fire displaced two residents, who requested Red Cross assistance.
